She was born and raised in Thessaloniki. She considers herself particularly lucky because she is one of the few people who truly loves what she does for a living. She began her studies in Psychology at the University of Crete. She specialized in Counselling Psychology, studying for three years at City University in London (MSc in Counselling Psychology). She continued her training in Couples Counselling at the Thessaloniki Institute of Systemic Therapy.

She has been trained in a wide range of psychotherapeutic approaches, with the central axis being person-centered psychotherapy. Feeling the need for continuous evolution, she is currently being trained in the method of mindfulness.

She has worked with a wide range of organizations, such as the Women’s Medical Center in Turnpike Lane, London, the Special Social Groups Service (OAED), the Psychological Laboratory of the First University Clinic of the Aristotle University, the Society for the Support of Mental Health “Psychology and Art”, and has participated as a speaker in various seminars and conferences.

Since 2000, she has been working providing psychotherapy to adults and adolescents, utilizing a wide range of experiential and creative approaches. Among other things, she deals with difficulties such as: Anxiety Disorders (Phobias, Panic Attacks, Compulsions/Obsessions, Persistent Ideas, Health Anxiety, Social Anxiety), Depression, Crisis Management (Bereavement, Loss, Abuse, Divorce), Emotional Management (Anger, Jealousy), Psychosomatic Manifestations, Personal Development (Self-Esteem Enhancement, Assertiveness, Boundaries), Eating Disorders (Bulimia, Overeating, Anorexia), Psychological Support for Reproductive and Maternity Issues (Infertility, Miscarriage).

Her main goal is providing a supportive environment in which the person seeking help feels that they can speak freely about all the issues that concern and burden them. She believes that through the psychotherapeutic process, we can better understand ourselves, examine new ways of managing the issues that concern us, and strengthen our inner power.
