Evangelia is a psychologist who studied at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from which she graduated, completing her practical training at the child and adolescent psychiatric department of “G.N Hippokratio Thessaloniki”. This experience was the starting point of her involvement with children. She continued her postgraduate studies in child psychology (Psychology of Child Development) at the University of Central Lancashire in the UK. She completed her postgraduate studies with a second postgraduate degree in Psychiatry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on Clinical Mental Health. She continuously educates herself with seminars and trainings in school psychology, intercultural education, and child and adolescent psychopathology. She is a doctoral candidate in a topic related to eating disorders in children and adolescents. She works as a school psychologist in public education and is teaching staff in vocational training schools, teaching courses related to developmental psychology, children with intellectual disabilities, psychopathology, and more.

Child psychology deals with ways of addressing dysfunctional behaviors and managing the emotions of children and adolescents. The most common reasons for parents to seek the opinion of a child psychologist are the following:
